The Bible addresses the treatment of strangers and sojourners in the Mosaic law, in Hebrews, and in Jesus’ words in Matthew 25.
In Leviticus 19:34:
34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
In Hebrews 13:2:
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
In Matthew 25:35:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
