The Pentateuch is a Greek term meaning "five scrolls" and refers to the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
In Jewish tradition these same five books are called the Torah. They are traditionally attributed to Moses.
