Absalom was the third son of King David; 2 Samuel records his revolt against his father and his death when his hair caught in an oak tree during his flight from battle.
2 Samuel 14:25 in the King James Version reads:
But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
The verse appears in 2 Samuel 14, in the account of Absalom's return to Jerusalem. Read it in context at 2 Samuel 14:25, or the full chapter at 2 Samuel 14. Encyclopedia entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absalom.
