Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The King James Version calls readers to trust in the Lord with all their heart rather than in themselves or their circumstances.
5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.4Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
3What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.4In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
7Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.8For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
7The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
