1 Corinthians 2:9 in the King James Version reads:
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
What it says
Paul explains that he preached Christ crucified through the Spirit's power rather than human wisdom, and that God's wisdom is revealed by the Spirit to those who are spiritual, who alone can understand and judge spiritual matters.
