Acts 2:38 in the King James Version reads:
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
What it says
At Pentecost, believers receive the Holy Spirit with wind, fire, and speaking in tongues; Peter preaches to gathered Jews, three thousand are baptized, and the early church shares possessions and grows daily.
