James 4:7 in the King James Version reads:
7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
What it says
James condemns selfish desires causing conflict, warns against worldly friendship, exhorts humility and submission to God's will, and declares that failing to do known good is sin.
