James 5:16 in the King James Version reads:
16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
What it says
James warns rich oppressors of coming judgment, exhorts believers to patient endurance until the Lord's return, and instructs on prayer for the sick, effective prayer exemplified by Elijah, and restoring those who stray from the truth.
