36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
What it says
Jesus feeds four thousand, refuses to give the Pharisees a sign, heals a blind man, and Peter confesses him as Christ; Jesus then predicts his death and resurrection and teaches about the cost of discipleship, warning against being ashamed of him.
