Joshua 1:9
9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
The King James Version offers encouragement through God's promises of presence, strength, and eventual restoration.
9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
24Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
6Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
